ADMISSION

Century University assists active professionals desiring achievements.

Students should be mature, self- motivated and able to work with minimal support.

All applicants must submit required information and documents outlined for each degree level. Comprehensive background information is absolutely necessary for Century University to assess competencies and thereby direct the applicant toward the appropriate entry study level.

PREPARATION FOR ADMISSION

1. Complete Century University’s Admission Application Form. Your application for admission must he accompanied by a deposit which is refunded if admission is denied.

2. Assemble transcripts of all your college-level academic work. Unofficial copies will be accepted with application. Official copies must be submitted post enrollment.

3. Document or list all your non-academic learning experiences, i.e., workshops, seminars, military training, etc.

4. Outline a list of your last year’s reading materials to include: fiction, nonfiction, textbooks, training manuals, journals, articles, specialized periodicals, etc.

APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION

Submit your application along with documents, transcripts and materials to the Admissions Office, through the University Representative's office in your region (Majestic Management & Development Int'l. in Abu Dhabi - UAE). Upon receipt of your application:

1. Your application will be reviewed by the Admissions Committee for a program evaluation.

2. Following the evaluation, you will be advised by the Dean of Admissions of the results.

3. If your application is accepted and you wish to proceed, you will be notified when you have been admitted.

4. Your deposit will be refunded if you are not accepted.

5. Once accepted, if you decide not to pursue the program, you must advise the Admissions Office in writing within one hundred twenty (120) hours of your written acceptance, in order to receive a full refund of your deposit. (See Refund Policy.)

After program admittance and acceptance, the following will be mailed to you:

1. Program Manual and Procedural Instructions.

2. Your Student Identification Card with ID. number.

3. Tuition Statement with serial number.

4. The name and biography of your faculty advisor, whom you may contact with questions regarding, progress toward your degree following receipt of your program evaluation requirements.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

BACHELOR DEGREE PROGRAMS

For individuals with two or more years of college:

1. At least one year of occupational experience in a degree-related field (three years required by the time of graduation); and

2. An Associate degree or equivalent (60 semester hours or two years) from a college or university

BACHELOR DEGREE PROGRAMS

For individuals with no college background or with less than two years of college:

1. High School Diploma only

2. At least three years of experience in a degree related field by the time of graduation.

MASTER DEGREE PROGRAMS

1. Three years at admission and five years at graduation of occupational experience in a field related to a degree program offered by Century University; and

2. A Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university or the equivalent

DOCTORAL DEGREE PROGRAMS

1. A mimimum three years at admission and five years at graduation of occupational experience related to the Doctoral program under the application; and

2. A Doctor’s degree or equivalent in a field realted to the Doctotal Program

TUITION & FEES

Tuition is based on one fee to complete the entire program. Other fees are nominal. Any purchase of textbooks is at student’s expense; you are encouraged to use the Century University’s Official Online Bookstore or use lending libraries.

Thesis or Dissertation Binding:

Theses or dissertations presented to the university must be bound according to American Library Association standards. The university recommends two bound copies one for the university and one for you. You should contact the Area Representative Office of Century University in your region for information about cost and assistance of binding in your Area. There is no bookbinding requirement at the bachelor level.

Transcript Fees:

Upon graduation from Century University, graduates will receive the initial transcripts at no charge. Additional copies are $5.00 each, and all requests must be received in writing.

General Education Requirement Examination:

Examination Fee $35.00. The university offers proctors a fee. The university will be responsible for payment of proctor fees.

RE-ENROLLMENT DISCOUNT POLICY

A Century University graduate of any program may apply for enrollment in the next higher degree level. Upon acceptance, the graduate is eligible for a (33%) discount from the then-current tuition fee.

REFUND POLICY

Century University’s refund policy conforms with the requirements of the Education code for the State of New Mexico. This policy requires that tuition be reimbursed according to a formula dependent upon when the student enrolls and withdraws, compared to the TOTAL COST OF TUITION STATED IN THE ORIGINAL TUITION AGREEMENT, AND NOT THE AMOUNT SO FAR PAID TOWARD THE AGREED COST OF THE ENROLED DEGREE PROGRAM. All refund requests must be submitted in writing to the Area Representative Office of Century University in your region. The Financial Officer of the university must approve the refund application. Refunds will be calculated based upon the postmark or the date of acknowledgement by the Area Representative Office of Century University in your region, of the student’s written notice to withdraw.

N.B.: NO REFUND WILL BE MADE ON CASES OF WITHDRAWAL AFTER RECEIPT OF THE ADMISSION PACKAGE BY THE STUDENT AND COMMENCEMENT OF ACADEMIC WORK.

WITHDRAWAL PROCEDURE

Students who wish to withdraw from their programs at Century University must advise in writing (Fax/Email), the Area Representative Office of Century University in your region, who will respectively process your request to the Dean of Instruction. Withdrawal will be effective as of the date of the (Fax/Email) received by the Area Representative Office of Century University in your region, of the student’s request in written notice to withdraw.
